Stacie Lane... the cute face with wild tastes

Stacie Lane was the guest on Ebony Nights the other night, and I must admit that she’s a testament to the old saying : don’t judge a book by it’s cover. In the case of Stacie, because she’s got that innocent face & smile, one might expect a timid little cutie who would laugh like “tee-hee” and probably roll her eyes at a guy like me acting like an idiot on my show. Yeah I know she still rolled her eyes at me acting a fool, but it was a different kinda eye roll LOL.

Seriously, I was pleasantly surprised. Stacie Lane is upbeat, energetic, and all about her business. Not to mention a self proclaimed “freak.” Actually, I think she topped almost all of us freaks when she admitted to boning her youth minister on a desk in the church office! And though I used to ALWAYS think of sex while I was in church (yes I’m gonna burn in hell), I never got the idea to do the do while in the “house of the Lord.” Points go to Ms Lane on that one.

Producer and Director Diana DeVoe gives Flexx the OG porn greeting

Well it was all good re-acquainting with Diana DeVoe again. It had been years since we’ve said anything more than a passing hello to each other. Not that there should have been more. We’ve always just barely knew each other. But while we were doing the show it took me back to when I first introduced myself to her. And that kind of reminded me why I first even started doing what I did in the first place.

I remember thinking that the black performers, and those who worked with them, just did not get enough shine in this dirty business. And while I never believed that I had “the juice” to make someone a star, I figured that there NEEDED to be more outlets for them to get at least some kind of exposure. That the main reason why I started my first porn site oh so long ago. (The other reason? Duh… nekkid women!)

If you checked out the show last night, you heard Gen and I talk a bit about the current lawsuit filed against Playboy, in which a producer of one of their Playboy Radio made claims of racial discrimination and more from co-workers and executives.  During the show, we somewhat made light of the whole situation, joked and laughed about some of the things mentioned in the court documents, and it was fun.  But, the fact that the comment of “…No Negro Shows” was allegedly made is disturbing to say the least. If you’ve watched the show, you may already have noticed a pattern forming. Gen gets naked – in a hurry! I don’t know if this is because she is hot from the lights or just hot in the pants, but I’m tellin’ ya, within the first five minutes of a show, she is peeling off some article of clothing.

Gen Tilly and Flexx toast the inauguration of Ebony Nights

This past Monday was the first episode of Ebony Nights on Rude TV. My co-host Gen Tilly is such a damn trooper. She was feeling a little out of it but still came through and helped me put on what we thought was a pretty good first show, considering that co-hosting a show was brand new to her. I think we’re gonna work some seriously entertaining magic for y’all.

Though a lot of it was new for me as well, there was still some “blast from the past” moments for me that night. (more…)
