My idea is to make part of this site a blog where I can air things out, or “vent”, if you will, about what it’s like doing a show like Ebony Nights, being somewhat of a hanger-on in the porn biz, etc. Hence: Flexx’s Blog.

After I talked to Wankus (the PD at RudeTV) about doing Ebony Nights again, I told myself that I wanted it to be different. Not just the aesthetics of the show, but the way it’s put together. The preparation. The behind-the-camera shit.

Seems like it was so long ago when me and Sierra first got started doing Ebony Nights over at the (now defunct) KSEXradio. It was most definitely good times.

I was real new in the game. And I basically got lucky by being in the right place at the right time. I had just started a new website that focused on ebony performers, where I did interviews, reviews, and even broke some great news and exclusives that might have never been covered by the more popular adult news sites at the time. Soon after getting that site off the ground, I made a pitch to Wankus (then PD of KSEXradio) about doing a show with the same focus. He dug the idea and, as they say, the rest was history. (more…)
